This plan provides direction to ensure graffiti vandalism is managed consistently across Council and its partners. We will be updating this plan.
Our current priority is in removing graffiti on Council property, and on street-facing private property, where we have budget available. When Council gets reports of graffiti that is offensive, we aim to get that removed urgently. We also work closely with other asset owners like the New Zealand Transport Agency, who have their own arrangements for removal of graffiti.
