Ward meetings are Council-run meetings that:
- encourage residents to make recommendations for improving the delivery of Council services
- help the Council to be more responsive to local needs
- involve local people more in the work of the Council
- inform the public about the Council's existing services and policies
- inform the public about policies and issues which might affect local residents.
