Te Tūhunga Rau

Te Tūhunga Rau in Strathmore Park is a centre for community activities – services, sports and cultural events. It has a range of spaces available for hire including a hall, lounge and meeting rooms.

There is off-street parking, including a mobility park.

The centre has wheelchair access, including an accessible toilet.

Facilities

The hall, lounge, kitchen,and a meeting room are all available for casual or regular hire.

Raukawa Lounge
A relaxed area with couch seating adjoining the kitchen. Ideal for small meetings and social get-togethers. Seats around 10–15 people. 

Poito Hall
The hall is a large, older style with polished wooden floors. It can be used for large meetings, recreation activities and performances. There are 100 chairs available and 17 trestle tables. 

Whaitaitai Room
This is a small meeting room with five executive chairs and a table. This room also has consulting facilities. 

Kitchen
The kitchen is next to the lounge and hall and has a fridge, oven, microwave, crockery, glasses and cutlery. 

Equipment
A whiteboard and small stereo are available.
