We are considering granting one new lease on Wellington Town Belt land and two new leases on Reserve land as detailed below:

Applicant: Harbour City GymSports Incorporated (existing tenant on Wellington Town Belt land) 
Description: The Club is a not for profit with a mission to offer fun GymSports programmes to promote and advance gymnastics and other complementary mat based sports.
Location: Site 0872, Hataitai Park 
Legal Description: Lot 1, Deposited Plan 33683, in the Record of Title WN20B/500
Lease Type: Ground lease, as well as two subleases to lease the land and building back to Harbour City Gymsports.
Leased Area: 603m² 
Permitted Use: Gymsports and clubrooms
Lease Fee: $874.80 per annum + GST
Term: Ten years with one renewal term of ten years

Applicant: Alex Moore Park Sport and Community Incorporated (AMPSCI) (a recently formed organisation to lease a new build, formerly the Johnsonville Cricket and Olympic Harrier Clubrooms, on Reserve land) 
Description: AMPSCI represents six local recreation and community foundation clubs, and has partnered with Wellington City Council to create a new sport, community and recreational hub facility at Alex Moore Park.
Location: Site 0495, Bannister Avenue, Johnsonville
Legal Description: Lot 17-20 on Deposited Plan 2107 and contained within Records of Title WN600/20 and WN507/94
Lease Type: Premises Lease 
Leased Area: 470m²
Permitted Use:  Sport, community and recreational hub facility
Lease Fee: $664.00 per annum + GST
Maintenance Fee: $8,314.91 per annum + GST.  
Term: Eleven year term with two renewal terms of eleven years

Applicant: Lyall Bay Surf Club (existing tenant on Lyall Bay beach)
Description: A purpose built building for the surf lifesaving sport on the Lyall Bay Parade. The application is for an extension of term from the previously agreed 10 + 10 year term to an 11 + 11 + 11 year term (the maximum term permissible under the Reserves Act 1977) due to the significant investment made by the Club.
Location: Site 2253, Esplanade, Lyall Bay Parade 
Legal Description: Part Lot 3, Deposited Plan 2456 and is contained in Record of Title WN428/268
Lease Type: Ground Lease 
Leased Area: 418.6m² 
Permitted Use: Surf lifesaving and clubrooms 
Lease Fee: $734.60 per annum + GST
Term: Eleven year term with two renewal terms of eleven years

Documents 

If approved the provisions of the Wellington Town Belt Act 2016, and the Wellington Town Belt Management Plan 2017 (14.7MB PDF) will apply to the lease on Town Belt land and the Reserves Act 1977 will apply to the leases on reserve.
