We’re considering granting three new leases and one licence on Town Belt and reserve land . The details of these are as follows:
Proposed new lease on Town Belt
Applicant name: Table Tennis Wellington Incorporated
Location: Newtown Town Belt, Newtown
Purpose: Table Tennis Club
Lease type: Ground lease of approximately 858 m²
Lease term: 10 + 10 years
If approved the provisions of the Town Belt Deed, Town Belt Management Plan and the Reserves Act 1977 will apply.
Proposed new leases and a licence on reserve land
Applicant name: North City Cricket Club Incorporated
Location: Linden Park Pavilion, Linden Park, 1 Gee Street, Tawa
Purpose: Cricket Club
Lease type: Ground lease of approximately 218 m²
Lease term: 10 + 10 years
Applicant name: Poneke Football Club Incorporated
Location: Kilbirnie Park, Kilbirnie
Purpose: Football Club
Lease type: Ground lease of approximately 1,296 m²
Lease term: 10 + 10 years
Applicant name: Tawa Progressive and Ratepayers’ Association
Location: Coronation Park & Play
Purpose: Community Garden
Licence Type: Occupation Licence of approximately 210.3 m²
Licence Term: 5 + 5 years
If approved the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977 will apply.
