What happened to this consultation?
We asked for your thoughts on a plan to install a public toilet at Monorgon Road Play Area in Strathmore.
This project was originally planned for two years down the track, but due to a strong need in the community it has been brought forward. The installation is planned for later this year and during this time the playground will remain open.
This development is in line with the 2017 Play Spaces Policy which identified the playground as a Community Play Space in which public toilets are part of the key amenities to be provided. Alongside the toilets, we’ll also be installing a drinking fountain on the side of the building.
