We’ve taken your feedback on board from the draft design and used it to help develop our final design plan. The main feedback we had was around accessibility, and we’ve since worked to create some good solutions to make the play area as inclusive as possible. These additions include an accessible carousal and an inground accessible tramp, both flush to the ground for ease of access. We've also added a Inclusive Seat in the four seat swing set to allow for a wider range of users.
As the draft design indicated, the final design features some exciting new equipment including a play fort, four-seater swing-set, embankment slides and a trampoline as well a nature play area with steppers, and so much more. The existing flying fox will stay put and we’ll be reinstalling the supernova.

We are due to start this work late October. The aim is to have the new playground open by Christmas. The current playground will be closed during construction.
