Provide either an island or speed bumps on the hill side of Severn St to slow down vehicles approaching the intersection and force them to take the corner properly without driving into the turning lane.
It is only a matter of time before a motorist waiting in the turning lane is injured in a head on, or a pedestrian is injured by a turning vehicle trying to avoid the car coming down the hill and then cutting the corner at speed
Background information
There are clear road markings on the corner both for the cars coming down the hill and for those turning into Severn (northwards). Most vehicles coming down the hill cut the corner and go either totally or at least partially into the path of the turning lane.
