Extending the Liquor ban to include Brooklyn.

Petition details

The business owners and residents of Brooklyn have been incredibly frustrated at the influx of violent and aggressive drunks to our quiet suburb following the liquor ban in the city. This petition intends to stop the drinking in public places.

Background information

Many of you will be aware of the drunk people who gather in the bus stop area of Cleveland Street. These people are regularly reported to the police who are powerless to remove them for public drinking. This is no quiet drink with a picnic they are drunk beyond safe levels before mid day everyday. This is bad for business and bad for the property values in Brooklyn. If Newtown and Aro Valley can stop this anti social behaviour then we must extend the ban to our suburb as well.
