Great Scavenger Hunt

18 January 2011

Combine the Amazing Race, a treasure hunt and a quiz and what do you get? The Great Scavenger Hunt. It's on this Saturday (22 January) from 10.00am - 4.00pm on the Wellington waterfront.

Collect your clue sheet and map from Capital E then solve each clue to find the destinations, complete a task and collect a unique stamp. You may also be lucky enough to win a spot prize.

When you've gathered all the stamps you need, head to Frank Kitts Park at 4.30pm and present your sheet to get the best seats at the Scavenger Hunt Extravaganza - a fantastic variety show featuring entertainers Rhythm Interactive and award-winning clown Fraser Hooper.

Capital E publicist Lucy Bryant says families can take their time and have a picnic on the way, or race each other.

"There will be roving performers to entertain people along the way or perhaps even throw them off course in the nicest possible way." says Lucy.

Wet weather day is Monday 24 January.
