Mezzanine Community Room - Central Library

Level one, mezzanine floor, Wellington Central Library, Victoria Street. The meeting room is next to the public payphones.

Capacity

Up to 100 people.

Facilities

  • The room is set up in an informal lounge style with 12 tables and 100 chairs
  • Kitchen, zip, fridge, stove

Availability

The space is shared with senior group activities during the day from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Meeting room rental may be possible during this time, but note that drop-ins may occur throughout the day.

It is available for exclusive hire by community groups on weekday afternoons and evenings, and on weekends during Library hours.

Monday - Thursday: 3.30pm - 8.30pm
Friday: 3.30pm - 9.00pm
Saturday:9.30am - 5.00pm
Sunday:1.00pm - 4.00pm

Cost

Prices - GST inclusive
Community $16 per hour
Non-Community $21 per hour
Social / Private $26 per hour
Commercial $36 per hour

Lift to the left of library entrance to level one.
