Next to the Lady Norwood Rose Garden in the Botanic Gardens, Tinakori Road, Thorndon.

An indoor venue, holding 90 people seated or 120 standing. Temperature is kept between 16°C - 20°C.

Four power points at different locations in the foyer.
Fixed bench seating for 12 people.
Catering kitchen with bench space, water heater and sink. If caterers require an oven or refrigerator, this is the hirer's responsibility.
Kitchen facilities available for a minimum of three hours.
Toilets.
Clients arrange their own catering, tables and chairs and sound system.

$125 per hour plus $50 non-refundable booking fee, minimum two hours hire
$650 plus $50 non-refundable booking fee for evening hire (5.00pm - 1.00am)
Payment must be made in advance and with two separate cheques to Wellington City Council - one for rental, one for the bond.

The amount of the bond relates to the nature of the booking. Please contact the Treehouse Visitor Centre for details.
Bond is held until after the function.
Bond is returned after the function if there are no complaints or damage.

Begonia House

The Begonia House Foyer is suitable for:

Functions must be pre-booked and include time for setting up and clearing away.
Noise must be kept to a reasonable level, especially after 10.00pm. All music must stop by midnight.
The venue must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
Clients are to remove all rubbish at the end of the function.
All clean up and rubbish removal must be completed by 6.00am.
No confetti anywhere in the Begonia House or Garden.
Candles must be kept on tables - no wax must touch the plants or floor.
No tables or BBQs are to be set up inside or in front of the Begonia House.
Premises to be vacated and locked by 1.00am.
