Thorndon Pool

Thorndon Pool is at 26 Murphy Street, Thorndon. It features a 30.5-metre heated outdoor summer pool. The pool was built in the 1920s and has been popular with city office workers and locals since.

Thorndon Pool will be open from 25 October 2008 until 9 April 2009.

• Monday and Wednesday: 6.30am - 8.00pm
• Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 6.30am - 7.00pm
• Saturday, Sunday and public holidays (except Christmas day): 8.30am - 6.30pm

In addition, Thorndon Pool will be open weekdays 12 noon – 2.00pm, 15 June - 31 August 2009 (while Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre is closed for maintenance).
