Before putting posters up in public places you need to get the property owner's permission. Likewise, you need to get Council permission for putting posters up on Council-owned land.
No posters are to be put up on public street furniture (that includes poles, seats, and signal cabinets).
In some circumstances (for example community and charity events), the Council may permit the use of some poles for postering in suburbs. In the central business district and suburban centres, posters may only be placed on the Council's poster bollards and pole poster holders (that is, not directly applied to poles).
Contact the Council's contractor (Phantom Billstickers) to arrange for access to these facilities and to determine if postering can be done for free or whether management fees apply.
