The following museums and galleries offer Passport to Leisure discounts.

City Gallery Wellington

  • Most exhibitions are free. Concessions are available on charged exhibitions.
  • Exhibits on contemporary visual arts, architecture and design.

Colonial Cottage Museum

  • 40% discount for adults. Adults - $3. Children - free
  • Exhibit of how Wellington's first European settlers began new lives for themselves by mixing traditions from their homeland with the requirements of a new country. Located in the city's oldest identified building.

Katherine Mansfield Birthplace

Phone:  (04) 473 7268

  • 24% discount. Adult entry $4 (normally $5.50)
  • Birthplace of one of New Zealand's most famous writers. Open to the public Tuesday - Sunday, 10.00am - 4.00pm. Closed Mondays, Christmas Day and Good Friday.

New Zealand Cricket Museum

Phone:  (04) 385 6602

  • 20% discount on admission to the museum, $4 entry
  • The New Zealand Cricket Museum is based in the Old Grandstand at the Basin Reserve and houses cricket treasures and memorabilia.
