Undergrounding Overhead Cables - Combining Projects

Print Page

The cost of placing cables underground might be reduced if the project coincides with other Council projects, such as footpath renewal or street widening.

Some Council work is difficult to combine with undergrounding projects. For example, most stormwater and drainage upgrades are difficult to combine with undergrounding. This is due to timing and best engineering or traffic practice.

For more information on planned upgrades, contact the Council.
