The Council runs two parking buildings and one car park in the central city - under Civic Square, on Clifton Terrace and next to the Michael Fowler Centre.
Note: Prices and payment methods vary, so check the signs when you park.
Civic Square (entrance off Harris Street)
- Open 6.00am - midnight.
- Daytime (6.00am - 6.00pm): $4 per hour, maximum stay of two hours.
- Evening (6.00pm - midnight): $2 per hour, maximum stay of six hours.
- Weekend: free, but a maximum stay of two hours applies on Saturdays between 6.00am and 6.00pm.
Clifton Terrace (entrance off The Terrace)
Monday - Friday
- 6.00am - midnight: $3 per hour
- Midnight - 6.00am: $1 per hour
- In before 9.30am: $12
- In after 9.30am: $15
Saturday - Sunday, Public Holidays
- $1 per hour (maximum daily charge: $5)
Michael Fowler Centre Car Park (entrance off Wakefield Street)
- Daytime (6.00am - 6.00pm): $4 per hour, maximum stay of two hours.
- Evening (6.00pm - midnight): $2 per hour, maximum stay of six hours.
- Weekends: free, but a maximum stay of two hours applies on Saturdays between 6.00am and 6.00pm.
