Hospitality New Zealand is a voluntary trade association representing many hospitality businesses in New Zealand. It provides individual membership services as well as local and national advocacy.
Members can access legal advice on employment and liquor licensing matters. Applications for the 18+ evidence of age cards are available on its website.

The DSA helps door staff of licensed premises meet their professional and legal obligations. Their website provides a code of conduct and training information. They hold an open meeting on the first Tuesday of every month.
The DSA was developed by door staff in the Wellington area with the assistance of the Wellington City Council, the Liquor Licensing Team and members of the New Zealand Police.
This is a multi-agency and industry group focused on reducing alcohol related harm in the community. The group comprises Wellington Police, the DLA, Hospitality New Zealand, the Alcohol Advisory Council of New Zealand, Regional Public Health, Beer Wine and Spirits Council of New Zealand and Accident Compensation Corporation.
The Sale of Liquor Act requires holders of on licences to make sure that all liquor sold is consumed on the premises and not removed beyond the licensed area.
