The key to effectively searching the Wellington City Council site is to choose appropriate keywords.

• To search for a phrase use speech marks. Example "kilbirnie park"
• Try the most obvious keywords first. If you're searching for information about Oriental Bay, try Oriental Bay, not Wellington Beaches
• Make your keywords as specific as possible. Accommodation hotel gets much better results than places to stay short term
• If your search returns no results, look at the list of words at the bottom of the No Results box. Some of your words will contain a 0 next to them, try removing or changing these words
