Discretionary Funds are very limited and used only in special circumstances. The funds are available to help those who cannot be considered in the current grants calendar due to extenuating circumstances.
Purpose
Discretionary funds ensure the community and its organisations are supported in times of severe need.
Criteria
Applicants must fit the Council’s general grants criteria. Applications can be made via the Grants Team leader and are assessed by the Mayor and several Councillors.
