CH Izard Bequest

The Council administers the CH Izard Bequest on the trustee's behalf.

Value

Approximately $25,000 per annum. Individual grants can be up to $5,000.

Purpose

The CH Izard Bequest grants assist charitable causes in great need.

Criteria

To be eligible, projects must:

• be for educational purposes or to support needy, disadvantaged groups in the community
• meet all criteria on the CH Izard Bequest application form
• be within the Wellington City rate paying area

Applicants must be a group or organisation (individuals are not eligible).

Note: While these annual grants used to be considered at the same time as the Community Grants, from July 2006 they will be considered separately from all other Council grants.
