  • Heritage Roses and their Story
    Monday 23 November, 10.30am
    An easy one-hour walk viewing the old roses in Bolton Street Memorial Park. Meet at Seddon Memorial in the entrance of Bolton Street Memorial Park.

Rose Festival

Friday 27 November

  • 10.00am - 3.00pm Ask your questions about growing roses - the Lady Norwood Rose Garden curator will be on hand to answer.
  • 10.00am - 3.00pm See botanical artist Kerry Duckmanton at work in the Begonia House.
  • 11.00am - 12 noon Take a guided walk through the historic Bolton Street Memorial Park where hundreds of old-fashioned roses will be in bloom. Meet at the Seddon Memorial.
  • 1.00pm Winners of the rose photo competition will be announced in the Begonia House.

Saturday 28 November

  • Check out paintings-in-progress from Watercolour New Zealand artists in the Lady Norwood Rose Garden and Begonia House.

Sunday 29 November

  • 10.30am - 4.00pm See the best at the Wellington Rose Society's annual show in the Begonia House.
  • 1.30pm - 2.30pm Take a guided walk through the hundreds of old-fashioned rose blooms in Bolton Street Memorial Park. Meet at the Seddon Memorial.

    Sunday 13 December, 7.00pm
    Enjoy European Christmas carols and dance and join the singing of English Christmas carols in the Botanic Garden's Soundshell.
