Wellington City Council is promoting sustainable practices - or sustainability - in the city.

Sustainable behaviour is about learning how to live and work in a way that helps protect the environment. It concerns our lives as individuals, and the way we operate at all levels in communities, business, and government.

Research shows that many Wellingtonians are concerned about the environment, and have already embraced some environmentally-friendly practices.
