The Council manages three halls and various other community facilities. Community groups and individuals can hire these facilities for meetings and events.
The venues are inexpensive to hire and are ideal for social functions, after-school activities and all kinds of community recreation and leisure activities.

Closing time: 12 midnight
No noise or music is allowed after 12 midnight. Quiet clean-up until 12.30am.

If you want to sell alcohol at one of the Council's halls or community facilities, you need to apply for and be granted a special liquor licence. Allow 25 working days for your application to be processed. Alcohol BYO events (bringing but not selling drinks) generally do not need a licence, but you may still need to pay a bond.
