Toi Pōneke - Overview

Toi Pōneke, Wellington Arts Centre is located at 61 Abel Smith Street - the top of Cuba Street.

The Arts Centre has 3,000 square metres of space over a total of seven floors in two adjacent buildings. It has rooms for hire, offers courses, and provides space for people to meet, work and be productive.

Over 35 local artists have studios in the buildings, and a number of arts organisations have offices. The Centre supports and promotes emerging and early career artists.

Rooms for Hire

Rooms are available for hire daily from 8.00am to 11.30pm. Swipe card access is provided for bookings outside opening hours.
