Artist studios at Toi Pōneke are available for long-term rent.

A diverse range of practitioners rent the studios, including photographers, painters, graphic artists, sound artists, writers, model makers, performers and sculptors.

Studio Availability

The studios range in size and are spread out over two levels of the centre. Prices range from $70 to $140 per week.

Apply for a Studio

You can apply for a studio by completing the Artist Studio Application Form.

Remember to include in your application:

• the completed application form
• a copy of your CV or biography
• at least six images of recent work
• copies of any press clippings, exhibition statements or project promotional material.

Evaluating Applications

A panel evaluates applications for studios. The panel considers the technical, conceptual and creative ability of the artist and whether they would benefit from being based at Toi Pōneke.
