Archives Reading Room

Archives services and facilities include:

• a reading room for researchers
• access to a database of holdings and scanned images
• staff to help you research
• copying of historical documents and photographs (fees apply)
• a research service if you cannot visit in person (fees apply).

Research Service

Staff can carry out targeted enquiries for you for a fee, but we suggest you visit our facilities for more extensive research.

Make an Appointment

Before you visit, contact the Archive. Staff will first discuss your research needs, identify items of use, and arrange an appointment for you to visit and view.

Access to archives is not available on demand.
