Public Works Act Issues with Te Kopahou Station and Tawatawa Reserve
Resolution to Exclude the Public
THAT the Strategy and Policy Committee:
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, exclude the public from the following part of the proceedings of this meeting namely:
Report 8 – Public Works Act Issues with Te Kopahou Station and Tawatawa Reserve
Grounds : Section 48(1) (a) – that public conduct of this item would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reasons for withholding would exist under Section 7.
Reason: Section 7(2)(i) - To enable the Council to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations of a commercial nature.
Section 7.2(h) – Enable any local authority holding the information to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, commercial activities.
Note: Strategy and Policy Committee meetings have pre-meeting sessions which are open to the public, unless an item is 'public excluded. The sessions are ordinarily held two days prior to the actual Committee meeting. Councillors use the sessions to prepare for meetings.
