The petition asks the Wellington City Council to add the unicode U+262E Peace Symbol closely to the left and right of the word POSITIVELY in their Absolutely Positively Wellington logo. |
| Background information: |
It's a general peace symbol and demands that all varieties of nuclear weapons be banned via it being the, free to use, CND logo. Wellington is the capital of the first nuclear free nation. Of special importance, at present, is how depleted uranium tipped munitions produce a cancer causing aerosol on impact with a hard surface. These aerosol clouds have poisoned populations and land in Kosovo and Iraq warzones, despite doubt from even the International Committee of the Red Cross.
