Discounts of 5% are available for online bookings. Discounts of 20% are available for Leisure Card holders, but only through phone bookings. Refer to the following information about the conditions that apply to discounts:
Holiday bookings for new and existing customers open on Monday 12 March 2012 (the school term ends on Thursday 5 April).
You need to contact the Swim School to first assess your swim level before you can book.
However, you can use Recreation Bookings to view details about the courses available.

Rollover bookings are those where we have automatically rolled over the customer into the identical course as their previous set of lessons.
Preferential bookings are available to existing customers.
The Learn to Swim programme provides for every level, age and ability.
Adaptive |
One-on-one lessons adapted for people with impairments (for any age). We can also help you find out about funding for swimming lessons. |
Waterbabies |
Encourages enjoyment and confidence in the water while learning floating and kicking skills and progressing to going under water. Caregivers need to be in the water and take part. |
Preschool |
Develops and extends swimming and water safety skills while building self-esteem, confidence and motor skills. |
School children |
Develops and extends swimming and water safety skills - caters for all levels from the nervous beginner to those who can swim lengths. |
Adults |
Caters for all levels - from basic survival swimming skills through to improving stroke and breathing techniques |
The classes operate all year round, matching the primary school terms. Some block courses are available in the school holidays.

Wellington City Council runs the Learn to Swim programme in partnership with Water Safety New Zealand. The programme supports the National Swim for Life campaign.
The Aquatic Club includes a variety of water-based activities for school children such as snorkelling, kayaking, surf sense and springboard diving.
