Tawa Pool is in Davies Street, Tawa.

Maintenance Work

Proposed work includes:

• Replacing the roof
• Installing a vapour barrier and acoustic ceiling
• Replacing window bays
• Resurfacing floor areas
• Improving access to the mezzanine area
• Tile repairs
• Pump, motor and pipe work maintenance
• Heating and ventilation maintenance
• General interior painting
• Quake-strengthening

The work will freshen-up the facility, lower the noise levels and make it more energy efficient.

We are working closely with nearby Keith Spry Pool to make sure that more programmes are on offer there over this period.

Learn-to-Swim Class Changes

Tawa Pool staff will be taking classes on Fridays at Keith Spry Pool for Tawa Pool clients. If you want to book a learn-to-swim class but not on a Friday, Keith Spry have increased their learn-to-swim programme to accommodate more bookings.
