Pools - Birthday Parties

Print Page Email Page - opens in new window

Have your child's birthday party at one of the Council's pools - a place where it doesn't matter if water's thrown around, energy can be burnt off and being noisy doesn't matter.

You can relax and enjoy the children's fun and there's no cleaning up to do at the end.

Birthday pool parties are best suited for 5 to 12 year-olds.

Karori & Tawa Pools

Birthday parties at these pools include:

  • water space and an inflatable toy solely for your use for one hour
  • use of a spectator area right next to the pool
  • use of a poolside party area while your children are in the pool and for 45 minutes afterwards.

Parties can be held at weekends at these times:

Karori Pool: 1.00pm - 2.45pm and 3.00pm - 5.00pm
Tawa Pool: 1.30pm - 3.30pm and 4.00pm - 6.00pm
